There are three vertical baffles secured inside by solder
through the walls at 7", 15-1/4", and 23-1/2" from one (either) end. The
neck is a 2-1/8" OD brass and is soldered in the top pointing slightly to
the right rear. Securing strap stay clips are soldered to the top of tank
at 3-3/" and 29-1/2" from neck (right) end. End panels are soldered into the ends and are indented
3/8".
There are two 3/8" BSP brass fittings riveted and soldered
into the bottom at 8" (reserve) and 10" (main) from right end and 2-1/2"
from the front edge of bottom. The unions screwed into the tank fittings are
shown below. The main union is a 5/16" OD copper pipe soldered into and
extending 2-3/4" above the 3/8" to 5/16" BSP male-male reducing union. The
reserve union is a 3/8" diameter fine mesh cylinder soldered into and
extending 2" above the 3/8" to 5/16" BSP male-male reducing union.
